SLAM Presents JORDAN A Hall of Fame Tribute

We all know this year is a big year for MJ fans and anyone in the MJ world. Slam is the first of probably many magazines that will be showcasing MJ and having an issue dedicated to the G.O.A.T. and his induction to the hall on Sept 11th. That being said I always love an MJ magazine, I'm just tired of seeing the same pictures, the same shoes, the same stories. Im hoping someone gets it right and gets creative.So far from what i can see the cover art looks good, The story headlines look good , now lets hope the inside is good!

I don't really have much to say about this, but if some of you don't know DJ AM was one of the first Niketalkers, and an OG head himself. Adam Michael Goldstein was 1/4 of the classic AMC crewon NT back in the day. He was also a pioneer on the decks my man put it down and created the DJ styles of today for many young guys and girls coming up and doing there thing. My condolences to his fam and friends. Rest In Peace!

Nineteen Eighty Five

Michael J. Fox showed us the future in a Delorean.

Rocky was the one man army in Vietnam.

Then he went to Russia and took on the Hulk.

Then we some some real shit.

No cameras, no movie sets and no special effects, just a pair of Nike's.

Michael Jordan showed us he can fly.

The Warmup

The MJ legacy continues with yet another great piece.
This warmup is probably the nicest of all the MJ warmups I've seen. This particular suit was worn in 90-91 season and was the first shooting shirt to have "Jordan" on the back along with his "23". I could imagine rocking this with some white and fire red og v's!!!

AS we all know this is the year that Michael Jordan gets Inducted into the Hall of Fame. OnSeptember 10-12 we will see history being made. This will be a moment that we will remember and relive with our kids, as we watch the greatest player of all time get honored.

To some of us this is also a time to see some great memorabilia pieces being sold or displayed as it nears induction time. To start things off GFC has put together some great stuff in there upcoming Basketball HOF Auction (MJ's first ever game worn jersey, last shot backboard, scorpions full uniform and cleat, and some game worn Air Jordans). As for me it will be a chance to obtain (hopefully) some items I have been missing. To the other collectors, GOOD LUCK!

1984-85 game worn rookie jersey, signed "MY VERY BEST MICHAEL JORDAN" (possible first game ever). This is absolutely amazing, to even get a chance to see a piece this special is simply great . What I would give to be rich for a moment just to have a chance at it!!
